ISRO invites applications for the posts of Light Vehicle Driver 'A' (LVD), Heavy Vehicle Driver 'A' (HVD) and Staff Car Driver 'A' (SCD) in the Level 2 of Pay Matrix of CCS (RP) Rules 2016 for posting at various DOS/ISRO Centres/Units as indicated below

Educational Qualification	Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
Experience	3 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver Must possess valid LVD licence and Public Service Badge.					5 years experience, out of which 3 years as HVD Must possess valid HVD licence and Public Service Badge.					3 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver Must possess valid LVD licence and Public Service Badge.
Experience	Total prescribed experience should be after possessing valid Driving Licence Experience Certificate should only be from Government/Semi-Government agencies/Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc. Experience Certificate from individuals will not be accepted. Public Service Badge should be issued by the concerned Competent Authority on or before the date of submission of online application by the candidate.
Age Limit	35 years as on 28.08.2017 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories). Central Government employees; Ex-Serviceman; Widows; Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried; Meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

On-line Payment Option : Candidates after submitting their application can pay application fee immediately or any day before the last date for fee payment i.e. 29.08.2017 (11.59) pm.

Off-line Payment by Challan : Candidates after submitting their application should download, print the pre-printed challan and pay the application fees in cash at any SBI Branch within 3 days of generation of challan or last day for payment, whichever is earlier.
The last date for payment of fee is 29.08.2017. Candidates are, however, advised to make online payment by 27-08-2017 to avoid any unexpected transaction failures/issues Application fee is non-refundable and shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

6. Process for application fee payment :

If candidate desires to pay application fee immediately then he/she on submitting application will be shown a web page displaying registration number. On same web page, there exists "Make Payment" button which candidate may click and follow the payment process as outlined below.
If the candidate wants to pay application fee later, he/she can pay the fee before closure of the advertisement by accessing the link "Make Payment" link available in advertisement page. Candidate has to provide his/her registration number, Date of Birth and later click on the "Make Payment" button and follow the payment process as outlined below.
The candidates on clicking the Make Payment button will be redirected to State Bank Multi Option Payments Systems (MOPS) page. The candidate may choose one of the payment modes shown below for making payment.

Pre-printed SBI Challan
(Candidates should download, print and pay the application fees in cash at any SBI Branch within 3 days of generation of challan or last day for payment, whichever is earlier).)The challan will be valid for the next three days only, from date of generation. If payment is not made within 3 days the challans, which are older than the specified time will be deemed unsuccessful. However, the candidate may regenerate fresh challan, if required or alternatively, make payment online payment.

7. All Women candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-servicemen [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee

9. Documents to be sent to ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (RMT), ANTARIKSH BHAVAN, ISRO HEADQUARTERS, NEW BEL ROAD, BENGALURU -560094 on or before 04/09/2017

Women Candidates	No documents to be sent, but will have to produce the relevant documents, as and when required. However, those who are already employed under Central/State Govt/PSU/ Autonomous Bodies should produce "No objection certificate" from the employer concerned.

10. Selection Process

The written test will be conducted on 26.11.2017 [Sunday] at nine venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram

11. Pay and Allowances

in Level 2 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs. 19,900/- p.m.

12. Other Conditions/Instructions:

Application Fee is non-refundable and shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
ISRO is not responsible for any incomplete/pending/failed transactions of online/offline application fee payments.
ISRO is not responsible for multiple payments for a single post.
The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit ISRO website and follow the application procedure as stated in the previous paragraphs. The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.
The number of posts indicated above are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirements.
The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Centres/Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required. Candidates attending the Skill Test will be reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the on-line application form to the place of Skill Test (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained).
Candidates called for Skill Test will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, at the time of Skill Test. If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be allowed for Skill Test and TA will not be paid.
No TA will be paid for attending the Written Test.
ISRO reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts, if it so desires.
Only Indian Nationals need apply.
In case of any clarification, candidates may refer to the FAQs uploaded in the ISRO website against the advertisement or send their mail to icrb@isro.gov.in No other interim correspondence will be entertained.

13. It is for the candidate to ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility criteria and complied with the requirements and adhered to the instructions contained in this advertisement as well as in the application form. Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard.

14. The Answer Keys will be published in the ISRO web-site within three working days of the Written Test. The candidates may raise objections with valid justifications, if any, within 5 days of publishing the answer keys in the web-site, ONLY through the link that shall be provided after the written test. Objections, if any, received thereafter and through any other modes will not be considered under any circumstances..
