Age Limit:
i) Post Number BE001 to BE003 :28 years as on 17.08.2026 Serving Govt. employees and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
ii) Post No. BE004 to BE007 : 28 years as on 17.08.2026. (31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved). Serving Govt. employees, Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

	UR/EWS candidates born on or after 18.08.1998.
	OBC candidates born on or after 18.08.1995, wherever posts are reserved.
	SC/ST candidates born on or after 18.08.1993, wherever posts are reserved.

PwBD Certificate: Candidates applying for the post reserved for PWBD have to submit a self-attested copy of Disability Certificate in the prescribed format at the time of Interview, clearly indicating the percentage of disability, issued by Medical Board consisting of at least three (03) members out of which one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing disability, duly constituted by Central or a State Government. The definition of Disabilities are as specified in the schedule of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

DEGREE OF DISABILITY FOR RESERVATION: Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in Services/Posts who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability. The standard Operating procedure for the eligibility is defined in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) OM No. P-13013/95/2023-UDID/IT/STATISTICS dated 15th October,2025. Candidates are requested to get their manual certificate(if any) digitized on UDID portal well within time for verification of the disability.

Candidates applying for the posts identified for OBC category should have valid OBC certificate as on last date of receipt of online application i.e. 17.08.2026. OBC –Non Creamy Layer(NCL) Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed proforma is only applicable for reservation / concessions of jobs under the Government of India.

Candidates applying for the posts identified for EWS category should have valid Income and Asset Certificate (valid for the financial year 2026-2027) issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed proforma applicable for reservation / concessions of jobs under the Government of India.

Important Instructions: Candidates will be Screened-in for Interview on the basis of a valid GATE – 2025 or GATE – 2026 Scores. The GATE paper and the subject of qualifying degree of the candidates must be as per the disciplines mentioned above in the table. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling their GATE Score (not GATE marks or GATE Rank), as the shortlisting will be based on the Score filled in the Application Form. ICRB will be verifying the GATE Score of the applicants. On verification during screening procedure, if it is found that the candidate’s GATE Score (as entered by him/her) is false, then ICRB reserves the right to take appropriate action (including criminal proceedings) against the candidate

How to apply: The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO website www.isro.gov.in between 28.07.2026 and 17.08.2026 The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may apply duly following the procedure stated. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily. The last date for submitting on-line application is 17.08.2026.

No Objection Certificate: Candidates who are employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc. have to submit `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, at the time of Interview or as and when called for by ISRO. However, the candidate should apply for the post only under intimation to and with the prior permission of the employer. A candidate who may gain/change employment after applying for the post, is required to inform the employer the particulars of his/her application and shall mandatorily submit NOC at the time of Interview. Any candidate, who fails to submit NOC in original at the time of Interview, shall not be permitted to appear in the Interview and TA will not be paid.

Application Fee:

There is a non-refundable application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only).

Those candidates who are desirous of applying for multiple posts have to separately remit application fee of Rs. 250/-. The Application fee will be collected only through Online mode via Bharathkosh portal and the link for making the payment will appear on submission of the online application. The fee can be paid using any one of the following modes:

• Internet Banking
• Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
• Debit Cards (Domestic)
• Credit Cards (Domestic)

i. Payment of Application Fee in any other form like cash remittance, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc. are not allowed (or) no other mode of payment will be accepted. After completely filling up all the details in the application form, candidates will be redirected to BHARATKOSH payment gateway for making payment. Once the payment is confirmed, the candidate will receive a confirmation message and mail. The last date for payment of application fee is 19.08.2026.

ii. If candidate desires to pay application fee immediately then he/she on submitting application will be shown a web page displaying registration number. On the same web page, there exists a “Make Payment” button which the candidate may click and follow the payment process as mentioned.

iii. If the candidate wants to pay the application fee later, then payment can be made on or before last date of application fee i.e. 19.08.2026 by accessing the “Make Payment” link available in advertisement page. Candidate has to provide Registration number, Date of Birth and later click on the “Make Payment” button and follow the payment process as mentioned.

Note: (i) Though application fee charged by ISRO is same across the payment modes the bank charges and taxes may vary. Therefore candidates are required to carefully follow the instructions shown. In case of Net banking and debit cards payments, the candidate on successful payment will be redirected to ISRO web portal and shown a page displaying transaction details.

(ii) During entire payment processing do not click REFRESH or BACK button, else session will be aborted.

(iii) Please follow the instructions of the banks/payment gateways with respect to the mode of payment (net banking, debit cards, credit cards etc.)

(iv) Candidates can check Payment status after 24 hrs of their successful payment and Print Receipt by visiting "Payment Status" link available in advertisement page. In case of pending transactions or transaction failures candidates are advised to contact their Banks and ensure successful payment of application fee.

All Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee. However, after registration of application on-line, the candidates have to ensure receipt of system generated email regarding successful submission of application.

Candidates are advised to check all the fields entered by them online before submitting their applications. Candidates should avoid submission of multiple applications for the same post.

NO DOCUMENTS (EXCEPT PHOTO, SIGNATURE IN JPG FORMAT AND GATE SCORE CARD IN PDF FORMAT) ARE TO BE UPLOADED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION. HOWEVER, CANDIDATES SHOULD BE READY TO SUBMIT ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF QUALIFICATION, AGE, CATEGORY, NOC FROM EMPLOYER ETC. AS AND WHEN CALLED FOR BY ISRO.

Instructions for uploading Photo and signature:

Photograph: (4.5cm × 3.5cm)

• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
• Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.
• Photo should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.

Signature:

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb
• Signature (Not in CAPITAL LETTERS) should be of appropriate size and clearly visible.

Selection Process:The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interview in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank. The candidates will be assessed based on the following attributes:

NOTE: ISRO reserves the right to change the qualification criteria for Interview and final selection due to administrative reasons, if any.

Pay and Allowances: Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs.56,100/- p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme/Unified Pension Scheme. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance etc are admissible as per Central Government orders.

Vacancy: The number of vacancies indicated above are provisional and may be increased or decreased depending on the actual requirements of the Organisation. ISRO reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any stage / not to fill-up any of the post, as per administrative convenience. The posts are temporary but likely to continue subject to confirmation to the post.

Travelling allowance: Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class/sleeper class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the on-line application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained).
